A mini session is a short and sweet photo shoot designed to give you beautiful, professional photos without the time (or cost) of a full session.

What's Included?
Each session includes:
- A 20-minute photo shoot in one of the studio’s elaborate holiday sets
- A private, curated online gallery of 20 fully edited, high-resolution images for download
- Access to the Holiday Portrait Style Guide to help you plan your outfits.
- 3-week turnaround time, leaving plenty of time to order holiday cards or gifts.

Holiday minis are $299 per session. This includes a 20-minute photo session, use of one of Toronto’s most sought-after Christmas studio sets, and a curated online gallery of high-resolution edited images for download.

Please note: As a part-time photographer, I am not required to collect HST at this time, so your total is $299 flat.

We're excited to confirm that this year we have selected four incredible holiday-themed studios for our Holiday Minis in Toronto at Mint Room Studios, located in the Junction.

Choose which holiday-themed installations you'd like as the backdrop for your session. Each studio offers a unique and captivating setting that perfectly complements the festive season.

Our holiday minis are located at Mint Room Studios in the Junction in Toronto.

In August Mint Room releases the theme for each holiday set up, including descriptions and mood boards.

They decorate the rooms in stages, beginning from late September. As soon as the studios are decorated, I will share on my social media.

Having held holiday minis here for several years now, I am confident the mood boards prove an accurate look and feel for what the final product will be.

Booking is simple — just click the “Book Now” button on this page to view available dates and times. Here you can also choose your preferred date/time.

Sessions are first-come, first-served and often sell out quickly, so I recommend reserving your spot early.

Within 48 hours of bookings, you'll receive an email which includes your photography services agreement, session details and your Holiday Portrait Style Guide.

Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Unfortunately, due to past no-shows, I am no longer able to accept day-of payments or deposits.

Your final gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session date — plenty of time to order holiday cards and gifts.

Since minis are only 20 minutes long, there isn’t enough time for outfit changes. If you’d like multiple looks, please book two sessions back-to-back.

Yes! Mint Room is pet friendly, provided you adhere to their pet policy which requires a $300 security deposit and $50 pet fee paid directly to Mint Room Studio or Preto Loft on arrival. The pet fee will be deducted from the security deposit following your session.

Remember, this is arranged directly with the studio when you arrive at your session, so if you are bringing your four-legged family member, please arrive leave extra time to pay this before your session is scheduled to begin.

Grandparents are always welcome to join your session — it’s such a special way to capture those multi-generational moments. Mini sessions, however, are intended for one immediate family unit (parents and children).

If multiple family units (for example, two siblings and their families) would like photos together, you’ll need to book two sessions so we have enough time to photograph each family as well as group shots.

Yes! This is a great option if you’d like extra time for outfit changes, larger family groupings, or simply a more relaxed pace.

Mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so arriving late will shorten your shooting time. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you’re ready to start on time.

It’s very unlikely. The studio is in extremely high demand during peak season, and as a mom to a busy 9-month-old, my schedule is limited.

The best way to guarantee your session is to book one of the available October or early November dates.

Booking earlier also means you’ll have your photos back with plenty of time to order Christmas cards, gifts, and keepsakes without any last-minute stress.

Due to limited availability and to ensure all our clients have the opportunity to participate in holiday minis, your session fee is non-refundable. However:
- If you cancel 7 or more days before your session, I’ll refund 50% of your fee.
- If I’m able to rebook your spot, you’ll receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance (and not rebooked) are non-refundable.
- If I have an opening on another date, I’ll do my best to reschedule you into that spot. Please note that this is not guaranteed, as mini sessions are very limited.
