I just love to capture life's special moments through my lens.

Recently, I spent an afternoon with Sirle and Mick, an adorable couple who were celebrating Mick's 30th birthday with a surprise Lifestyle Portrait session. One of my first sessions following our first Covid lockdown, it was incredibly energizing to be out and about in Sydney, capturing the beauty of the city's foreshore.

You just can't beat Sydney Harbour views

For this session, we chose one of my favourite harbour locations - Bradely's Head. I spent my first 3 years in Sydney living on the Lower North Shore, and exploring every walking track and inch of shoreline I possibly could. So I definitely have a soft spot for this location and was excited when Sirle chose the spot for Mick's birthday photos.

But soft spot or not, you can't deny the variety of backdrops there makes for stunning photos, from the lush greenery to the lighthouse, shoreline, and of course, the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and CBD in the distance.

It's hard to put into words just how much I love shooting in beautiful locations like Bradely's Head. There's always something new to discover and capture through my lens. And after the past year, it's clear that people are more appreciative than ever of the beauty that surrounds us.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Sirle and Mick, and I'm thrilled with the results of our sessioN
