Dreamy light, warm autumn sunshine and fiancés that couldn't take their eyes off each other.
Seriously, what more could you ask for as a photographer?
When Tess reached out for engagement portraits for herself and her fiancé, Aidan she mentioned they wanted their photos to showcase the part of the city they loved so much and had become their home - the Northern Beaches. Immediately I jumped at the chance to get back to my favourite spot - a secluded beach I stumbled upon accidentally during my first trip to Sydney in 2014.

Turimetta Beach is a true hidden gem tucked away on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Known affectionately as "Little Narrabeen" by the locals, this stunning beach is a popular spot for those in the know. What makes this beach truly unique is its almost exclusive emptiness, which means we had plenty of space to shoot without the crowds.
For me, the highlight of Turrimetta Beach is the gorgeous rock pool at the south end of the beach. As the sun sets, the swirling waves create a stunning display of blues and teals, which are only amplified by the golden hour light.

A Cozy Winter Beach Session
This late autumn session meant that as the sun dropped behind the headland, so did the temperatures. But Tess and Aidan's third outfit change was perfect for an adorably cozy, winter at the beach feeling.
I just couldn't get enough of these two and the way they looked at each other. They were absolute naturals in front of the camera and these photos prove it!
